Knowing how to use design tools doesn’t necessarily make someone a designer. The hardest part has never been moving pixels, choosing fonts, or making something look good. It’s understanding the problem, questioning the obvious, making decisions, and knowing why they work. Design is the output. Thinking is the real work.
Building a Life While Wondering About Another
You can be grateful for the life you built and still wonder about the ones you never lived. The roads you didn’t take, the people you didn’t choose, and the versions of yourself that might have existed somewhere along the way. Maybe wondering doesn’t mean wanting to go back. Sometimes, it simply means acknowledging that every life we choose comes with other lives we quietly leave behind.
